Watchlist Batch Template Instructions

This template format allows a user to upload a CSV or Excel file containing multiple persons and/or organizations as a batch of names to be matched. This downloadable template must be used when uploading a batch of names to be checked against the set of watchlists.

The format of the batch template includes the following fields, which must be included in the CSV or Excel file:

External ID – A code or unique identifier for the name. This field is limited to alphanumeric characters, with a maximum number of characters of X.

Entity Type – Identifies whether the entity is a Person or an Organization. The only available options are Person or Organization.

Name – Required. Identifies the name to be matched. This field is limited to alphanumeric characters, with a maximum number of characters of X.

City – The city in which the entity should be matched. This field is limited to alphanumeric characters, with a maximum number of characters of X.

State – The state in which the entity should be matched. This field is limited to alphanumeric characters, with a maximum number of characters of X.

Postal Code – The postal or ZIP code in which the entity should be matched. This field is limited to alphanumeric characters, with a maximum number of characters of X.

Country – The country in which the entity should be matched. This field is limited to alphanumeric characters, with a maximum number of characters of X.

License Number – The license number in which the entity should be matched. This field is limited to alphanumeric characters, with a maximum number of characters of X.

The more data entered in the Watchlist batch, the fewer matches you will see due to additional criteria needing to be met before a match is identified. For example, if both name and state are provided, the confidence score will reflect the level of the match.
